The Stompin' Gents

Partygrass

The Stompin’ Gents are a dynamic folk party band that bridges the gap between Kentucky and Aberdeen, bourbon and Scotch. Hailing from the Cologne, Germany area, these four gentlemen—Pete Coutts (lead vocals, guitar, mandolin), Philipp Keck (vocals, banjo, guitar, mandolin), Paul Bremen (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), and Pierce Black (standup bass, vocals)—have dedicated themselves to crafting authentic, acoustic music that’s guaranteed to elevate any gathering.

Bluegrass, with its infectious rolling groove, forms the heart of their repertoire. This genre, originating from the lush, blue-tinged hills of Kentucky in the early 20th century, serves as the foundation for the Stompin’ Gents’ sound.

With a classic bluegrass lineup featuring guitar, banjo, mandolin/fiddle, and double bass, the Stompin’ Gents offer a rich blend of old-time, traditional, and modern bluegrass. Their international ensemble isn’t afraid to push boundaries, delivering folky interpretations of jazz, pop, and rock songs that showcase their versatility.

The Stompin’ Gents are masters at igniting the dance floor and captivating music enthusiasts with their rustic blend of catchy melodies, harmonious vocals, and virtuosic solos. Their energetic performances, coupled with warm instrumentation, create an irresistible atmosphere that’s both raw and genuinely entertaining.

This diverse lineup brings a unique international flavor to their bluegrass-inspired sound, promising a foot-stomping good time for all.
